The boys got a lil out there with some of their picks wanting to see if MAYBE something interesting will happen as we are nearing the end of the part of the season where common opponents don't exist and the meat and potatoes of the conference scheule is gotten into. Speaking of conference schedules, the American is adding Army, but their game with Navy will still be non-conference and after the conference championship game, we talk about that some as well as the Michigan cheating scandal. You know with an Ohio State fan, an aspiring lawyer, and an agent of chaos that that particular conversation gets a little spicy, skip to the end of the show if you want to hear that though. Join Dug and Tug as they break down the action from week 8 in college football! While Bug's Mmemphis Tigers won teh Battle for the Bones with UAB, and Tug's USAFA Falcons won the first leg of the Commander-in-chief's Cup, there were several other great matchuips this week, including FCS #1 South Dakota State taking on #12 Southern Illinois University in a thriller for the Saluki's Homecoming matchup (which Bug and Dug were in attendence for.) There were however, a few games the boys completely misjudged, but did we get an ultimate meming this week, or just a few here and there? Tune in to find out!

Join Bug and Dug as they discuss all the ranked and rivalry matchups from the upcomming week of college football, as well as a few games that stuck out to them, and as always we end with Dug's prospect preview. Whether you want to see the #1 SDSU Jackrabbits take on #12 SIU Salukis on homecoming, or #7 Penn State taking on #3 Ohio State, we cover all the D1 ranked games. There's also a few rivalries that are particularly intriguing to us such as the return of the Battle of the Bones as Memphis travels to Birmingham to take on UAB for that beautiful rack of ribs trophy. We also get the first leg of the Commander in Chief's trophy as #22 Air Force travels to Annapolis to take on Navy.

Bug, Dug, and Tug talk about the week that was in college football starting with of course all the ranked matchups that took place this past week, all the rivalries, and then their own games of the week as well. While Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans took a massive hit, Michael Penix and the Washington Huskies are well on the rise. Air Force and Tulane took steps towards that NY6 bowl bid for the Group of 5 while Memphis and Wyoming's chances are all but dashed completely. There's a couple of teams taking losses this week too that is real starting to show how much of a rebuild they find themselves in, while others continue to break out all the surprises for us at this point in the year. This season is far from over, but a lot of pieces for the post season are starting to fall as we are chipping away the unworthy in the FBS, and getting a clearer picture in the FCS.

The Red River Showdown did not disappoint as Oklahoma came out on top in a thriller, but not before Texas almost took it on a final Hail Mary attempt. There are SEVERAL rivalry games, and nobody does it better than BDT, but there are also several firsts taking place this week too. 2 different ranked matchups, are ranked matchups for the first time ever! First, #24 Kansas travels to #3 Texas, and later in the day #11 Notre Dame visits #17 Duke. In a nonranked matchup, we have a first time ever matchup that has all the makings of an instant classic as Boise State travels the Memphis to take on Bug's Tigers.
